President's Note

Hi there,

As we move into the fall, one thing is becoming increasingly clear: warehouse and logistics leaders are being asked to do more with technology while also being more deliberate about where they invest. The pressure to improve efficiency, control costs, and scale operations is not going away, but neither is the need to make sure new technology delivers measurable value. At SC Codeworks, our focus remains on helping organizations make smarter technology decisions, build stronger operational foundations, and turn innovation into practical results.

One of the highlights this month was the launch of Codeworks Integrate, our new AI-native integration platform designed to simplify the complex connections between the systems that power modern supply chains. From WMS and ERP platforms to TMS, e-commerce systems, and trading partners, Codeworks Integrate combines AI-assisted data mapping and troubleshooting with support for APIs, SFTP, and EDI. The goal is simple: make integrations faster, easier to manage, and more accessible as supply chain technology ecosystems continue to grow more complex.

We're continuing to focus on one of the most important questions warehouse leaders face: How do you know when a WMS investment is the right decision? This month, we published several resources designed to help organizations answer that question. Our new Building the Business Case for a WMS white paper provides a framework for evaluating the financial and operational impact of a WMS, from labor productivity and inventory accuracy to error reduction, scalability, implementation costs, and ROI. A technology investment should be more than a list of features; it should have a clear business case behind it.

Once you're ready to evaluate solutions, asking the right questions becomes just as important. Our new 8 Questions You Should Ask During a WMS Demo highlights the areas that can reveal whether a system will actually meet the demands of your operation, while our 25 Questions to Ask During a WMS Vendor Demo checklist gives warehouse teams a more comprehensive framework for comparing vendors, identifying red flags, and evaluating solutions objectively. The more informed the evaluation process, the better positioned organizations are to choose technology that delivers long-term value.

And as AI becomes an increasingly important part of warehouse technology, there's another foundational issue that can't be overlooked: data quality. Our latest article, Warehouse Data Quality: The AI Problem Nobody Is Talking About, explores why AI can only be as effective as the data behind it. Manual processes, disconnected systems, inconsistent information, and data corrections can all undermine the insights and automation that AI promises to deliver. Before organizations can expect AI to make better decisions, they need to make sure their underlying data is accurate, consistent, and trustworthy.

Taken together, these resources reflect a broader belief we have at SC Codeworks: technology works best when it's connected to a clear business objective and built on a strong operational foundation. Whether you're evaluating a new WMS, connecting multiple systems, or exploring how AI can improve your warehouse, the most successful technology strategies start with asking the right questions and understanding the problems you're trying to solve.

As always, I'd like to thank our customers, partners, and investors for your continued confidence in SC Codeworks. Your feedback and partnership continue to shape the solutions we build and the resources we share with the industry. As we head into the final months of the year, we're excited to keep helping organizations improve warehouse performance, make smarter technology investments, and build the foundation for what's next.

Let's make it a great month,

Suresh Chappidi
CEO, SC Codeworks

Warehouse Data Quality - The AI Problem Nobody is Talking About

AI is only as useful as the warehouse data behind it. This article explores how manual entry, disconnected systems, corrections, and spreadsheet-based processes can undermine data quality, and why building a reliable data foundation should come before automating decisions with AI.
